HOLISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY in CA, FL, AND TX
Hi, I'm Marielle.
I offer a gentle, intuitive approach to therapy, rooted in psychodynamic, holistic, and depth-oriented principles. I believe in treating the whole person by honoring each client’s individuality and lived experience. With warmth, curiosity, and deep empathy, I help clients explore the root causes of their suffering, creating space for lasting healing and transformation. Through this process, you can reconnect with a stronger, more authentic sense of self and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience.
I work with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Together, we make sense of your emotions, patterns, and experiences, fostering self-compassion and deeper self-awareness along the way. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your inner world and move toward meaningful change.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and owner of Jade Tree Psychotherapy
In addition to my general practice, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum struggles, and reproductive loss. If you're seeking counseling in this area, you can find more information about my fertility-focused practice here.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, with a focus on depth psychology. My clinical training includes work at The Maple Counseling Center in Los Angeles and advanced training in EMDR therapy through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. My work is deeply influenced by depth psychology, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, allowing me to integrate a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs.
Above all, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom, heal from past wounds, and create a life that feels more fulfilling, balanced, and true to who you are.
The power of therapy lies in being heard and believed, and in having overwhelming or chaotic feelings contained so they can be understood rather than feared. In my work, I use a psychodynamic approach to help adults deepen their self-understanding and make sense of the choices and patterns that shape their lives. With a background in developmental psychology research and training in marriage and family therapy, I support clients in loosening rigid, self-defeating responses and opening space for more flexible ways of being in the world.
I work primarily with adults navigating questions of meaning, purpose, and identity. Whether you feel weighed down by indecision, caught in a difficult transition, or stuck in uncertainty about the direction of your life, therapy offers a collaborative space to explore what is happening beneath the surface.
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
My style is warm, curious, and engaged. I take your experience seriously and work alongside you to foster deeper insight, emotional integration, and authentic change. Over time, this process can help you reconnect with a clearer sense of self and move through life with greater clarity and depth. I believe even small shifts in awareness can create meaningful transformation, and I am here as a fellow traveler in that process.
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, where I trained in psychodynamic and relational approaches. My clinical experience includes a year-long practicum at the South Central Training Consortium in Los Angeles, where I worked with survivors of domestic violence and related trauma through individual therapy, group therapy, and parenting classes. I also participate in ongoing psychoanalytic reading groups and clinical supervision to deepen my practice. Alongside my clinical work, I hold a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Leipzig and have spent more than a decade as a researcher and professor in developmental psychology, studying how people learn, relate, and grow across the lifespan.
